Relay For Life is a fun and moving overnight experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services.
Teams of 10-15 get together to raise money and then take it in turns to walk around a track at a relay-style overnight event – symbolising that cancer doesn’t sleep, so neither do we!
Bringing the Gympie Community Together
Relay is a chance for the Gympie community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer, and to raise money to help save more lives.
You’ll never forget your first Relay experience, and you can make a big difference in the fight against cancer.
Join the thousands of Australians who take part in Cancer Council’s Relay For Life each year in the fight against cancer: start or join a team in the Gympie Region 2019 Relay today!
Each and every person who has contributed in any way to the Gympie Relay for Life over the past 13 years, helping to raise $979 561.00, is an absolute champion. You have made a difference.
This year the theme will celebrate the Heroes and Champions involved in Relay for Life.
Come along dressed up, as we all are heroes and champions.
