Imagine the twang of the banjo, the rumble of the sousaphone and the ring of the spittoon, the creak of the door, and the crow of the rooster. Just add the stomping of floorboards and the hammering of the chain gang , and you have yourslef the Long Johns.

This unique four piece possé, deliver spooky country with old time swing, peppered with the spiciest of flavours to deliver songs of hope, loss and hauntings.

Emma Beau

Joining the line up is local multi-instrumentalist, Emma Beau. Capturing the attention of some of Australia’s greatest performers, Emma has toured nationally with the likes of Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicolson and the legendary Jon English.

A singer-writer, Emma has been refining her craft and is maturing as a solo artist.

The Small Halls Revitalisation Project is supported by the Regional Arts Development Fund, a partnership between Gympie Regional Council and the Queensland Government to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
